This website, shorelinetrapping.com (the “Site”), is operated by Shoreline Trapping Services, LLC (“Shoreline Trapping,” “we,” “us”), a Texas limited liability company and part of the Lochow Ranch family of companies, with its principal office at 8745 N State Hwy 6, Bryan, TX 77807. This policy describes what information the Site collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this Site only, not to other websites we link to.
Information we collect
Information you give us (contact form)
When you submit our contact form, email us, or call us, we receive the information you choose to provide: typically your name, email address, phone number, the city or property location relevant to your inquiry, and your message. Providing this information is voluntary. We only ask for what we need to respond to your request.
Anonymous, cookieless site analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how visitors find the Site. This service is cookieless: it does not use cookies or persistent device identifiers, does not track you across other websites, and does not give us information that identifies you personally. Visits are counted using a temporary anonymous hash that is automatically discarded within 24 hours. The aggregated statistics we see include things like page URLs, referrer, country and region, browser, and device type, never your name, exact location, or IP address.
Server and security logs
Like nearly all websites, our hosting infrastructure (Vercel) processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser information) to deliver pages, maintain security, and prevent abuse. We do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect payment information through the Site, we do not run account registration, and we do not knowingly collect any category of sensitive personal information (such as health, biometric, or precise geolocation data). We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for targeted advertising.
How we use your information
We use the information described above to respond to your inquiry and provide quotes or services you request, communicate with you about work you have engaged us for, operate, secure, and improve the Site (aggregate analytics only), and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Cookies
This Site does not set cookies: no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no tracking pixels. That is why you do not see a cookie consent banner here.
Separately, some pages include embedded third-party content: an embedded Google Map to show a service location. That map is loaded in a frame directly from Google, and Google may set its own cookies or collect usage data within that frame under Google's Privacy Policy. If you prefer, you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings without affecting the rest of the Site.
How your information is shared
We share personal information only with the service providers that make the Site work, and only for the purposes described in this policy:
- Vercel (privacy policy): website hosting and anonymous, aggregated analytics.
- Resend (privacy policy): delivers your contact-form submission to our inbox as an email.
- Google Maps (privacy policy): embedded location maps, as described in Cookies above.
We may also share information within the Lochow Ranch family of companies so the right team can respond to your inquiry, and we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights. We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we have not done so.
Data retention
Contact-form submissions are delivered to us as email and retained in our business correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, provide services, and maintain business records, after which they are deleted in the ordinary course. Aggregated analytics contain no personal information and are retained as statistics only.
Your choices and rights
You can browse the Site without providing any personal information. If you have submitted information and would like to access, correct, or delete it, email us at info@shorelinetrapping.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and we will honor reasonable requests within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law; you may exercise them through the same address. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
Advertising
The Site currently uses no advertising or remarketing technologies. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any notices and opt-out choices required by applicable law before such technologies are used.
Children's privacy
The Site is a business website intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us at info@shorelinetrapping.com and we will delete it.
Security
Contact-form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and processed server-side. We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the limited data we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
